Our Team
Meet the Team. Behind Allegedly The News is a diverse, dynamic team driven by a passion for fearless storytelling. Our PR Director shapes our bold public image and keeps our community engaged across platforms. A crew of seasoned Editors and young journalists work side by side to ensure every article is sharp, accurate, and reflective of our independent spirit. We collaborate with talented Contributors from all walks of life – from freelance writers and subject matter experts to on-the-ground citizen reporters – bringing fresh perspectives from around the world. Through our internship pipeline (and with guidance from a savvy Legal Advisor ensuring our reporting stays responsible), we welcome Interns and emerging creators into the fold, training the next generation of truth-tellers. Every member of our team shares a commitment to authenticity, creativity, and the courage to tell it like it is.
Allegedly The News Internship Program
Next-Gen Journalists. The Allegedly The News Internship Program is our investment in the future of independent media. We offer aspiring journalists and creators a hands-on experience in our newsroom – from pitching stories and chasing leads to writing real articles that get published on our site. Interns are paired with veteran editors for mentorship, honing their investigative skills and editorial savvy in real time. It’s a fast-paced, learn-by-doing environment where coffee runs are replaced by real reporting – because we believe the best way to learn journalism is to practice it. Upon completion, interns earn proprietary certificates (through our Mind University, see below) to kickstart their media careers, and many go on to become regular contributors or even join our staff. If you’re hungry to make your mark in news media, our internship program is the ultimate training ground.
Allegedly The Mind University
Innovation in media education is part of our DNA. Allegedly The Mind University is our very own learning hub – a bold initiative to mentor and certify the next wave of media mavericks. Through this program, we offer specialized workshops, webinars, and courses covering everything from investigative journalism and media ethics to content creation and digital storytelling. Students (including our interns and community members) can earn proprietary certificates and even a unique digital media degree that signals their mastery of our craft. It’s an unorthodox, hands-on alternative to J-school: learn directly from industry rebels and seasoned pros who know what it takes to thrive in today’s fast-paced news climate. In short, Allegedly The Mind University is where raw talent meets real-world training – empowering you with the skills and credentials to disrupt the media landscape.
Community Engagement – Join the Conversation
Allegedly The News isn’t just our publication – it’s yours too. We believe the best stories often come straight from the community, and we’ve built our platform to be as interactive and participatory as possible. Have a story to tell or a tip we should investigate? We want to hear from you. Our team actively encourages public submissions – whether it’s an eyewitness account of local events, a personal essay for our My Story section, or a hot tip about something newsworthy unfolding in your area. We’ve made it easy to reach out: send us your leads, ideas, or even your own article drafts. We review every submission because your voice matters.
Community engagement doesn’t stop at submissions. We regularly feature reader perspectives and interviews, shining a spotlight on voices from the public in our articles and podcasts. Follow us on social media and you’ll find interactive Q&As, polls, and live chats – we love sparking conversation with our audience on Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and beyond. See an injustice or a story brewing that others overlook? Tell us – our investigative team is ready to dig in, and we always credit or protect our sources as needed.
Allegedly The News isn’t a one-way broadcast; it’s a two-way dialogue and a community of truth-seekers. Together, we’re building a new kind of independent media movement – raw, real, and powered by you.
